haha....mighty hilarious, brother. I read that post in Brian the dog's (from Family Guy) voice. Dripping with sarcasm and dry wit...beautiful stuff, man, beautiful stuff. We need to counter the verbal onslaught of abuse we face on a daily basis around these parts and other places with those sorts of replies, man.

Too bad it had to be dannyeli who got treated to that masterful post because he's a cool dude and all, but the rest will definitely think twice about entering this place with the intentions of bashing and bad-mouthin' us.....that's for sure, Carlos.

A great victory against Anderlecht were we won convincingly 3-0. Cruz scored 1 and Martins grabbed a brace. Mancini also used that trident he was talking about (Recoba-----Martins-----Cruz)

If these 3 can consistently perform and if Vieri and Adriano can go on a roll then our offense will truly be outstanding.

2 fantastics wins in a row. Hopefully the club can continue this weekend against lowly Siena. Thrashing them would raise morale even higher.

another tie against Siena...

adriano had two chances from the penalty spot and only got the first one, the second one hit the bar and he didn't give inter a 2-1 lead.

in the 86' minute siena were leading 2-1 and in extra time Vieri hit a magnicifent header from a corner

... i thought Inter should have done better, but another tie ... :\

This result doesn't really aggravate me. As long as we get some wins in sometimes enough that we qualify for the CL next season I'll be happy.

The main focus of the team should be the CL and the Coppa Italia.

God! We were **** out there against Siena. Just about everyone (barring the Turkish hobbit and the two DMs) were absolutely pathetic and way off form. Was it the condition of the grass? Couldn've been that horrible for them to have displayed such a poor performance.

Why is Mancini treating King Recoba (arguably the best footballer in the world) like this? He's treating him just as bad as Cuper treated him, man. His bias towards Stanko, who's been off form for quite a while now has gotta stop! Folks like Vieri are allowed to play off bad form and get instant priority the second they do something extraordinary in the lineup, yet, King Recoba languishes on the bench and is reduced to coming on from the sidelines in dire circumstances or playing in meaningless matches. The negro version of Michael Ownes should never be played in any wide position due to his pitiful technique, (I know, it's improving) and control of the ball. He should be slotted right in the middle so he can latch onto and take advantage of through balls.

Materazzi let me down in this game. As much as I love this dude, he's gotta stop with the childish play and concentrate more on marking his man tighter. He's always worrying more about getting back at someone and taking cheapshots at them instead of defending properly! He should show more respect to King Cordoba by keeping quiet and sticking to his man, instead of having to make King Cordoba do 2x the work, man.

I wonder where the Argentines rank Julio Cruz at in their NT team? He'd would most definitely be on the squad if I ever ran the team. Without a doubt, he's my favourite Argentine striker.

We will repay you for this wonderful offering in a big way, I promise.

MANCINI: "JUVE-MILAN? INTER"
Saturday, 18 December 2004 15:49:29
APPIANO GENTILE - Roberto Mancini news conference (3):

Will you watch Juventus-Milan tonight?
"I might do. What result am I hoping for? I don't know, but in any case we're far off them. First we have to think about ourselves, then see where we are in three to four months' time. Who could decide the match in Turin? There are many champions who could decide the clash, especially in attack. Perhaps Clarence Seedorf might decide it for one team or Pavel Nedved for the other, seeing as the defences will be very careful."

A comment on the Champions League draw which sees Inter up against reigning European champions Porto?
"All three Italian teams were drawn against very difficult sides. I have read that Inter are pleased about drawing Porto. But they're outgoing European champions and they have just won the Intercontinental Cup, so they certainly shouldn't be underestimated. Real Madrid and Barcelona are definitely superior at the moment but maybe things might be different in two to three months' time. It will be a difficult 180 minutes against Porto, but when you look at the teams still in it, they're all difficult matches in the last sixteen."

Do you think that come spring Inter will benefit from the player rotation system used up to now, especially compared to Juventus who have played the same men?
"I don't know. Playing with the same men can certainly be a burden in the long-run, but it's also true that Juventus have built up a big advantage over us. It could happen, but at the moment it's difficult to say. But if it does happen, I hope it's before spring..."

You have called up three goalkeepers for Inter-Brescia. Is there any doubt about who to play between the posts?
"No. Maybe we'll try and play all of them together," concluded a smiling Mancini.
