Installing Kits...

Right, so I wanted to add kits for every team in Northern Ireland in FM2006. So I downloaded a kitpack which included all the teams kit, a config file and a readme.

Heres what the readme said;

"Installation
Extract to data\graphics\pictures\kits\clubs\france."

I thought 'hmmm thats wierd' as;

1)Why would I install Northern Ireland kits to france?
2)There isn't a france folder.

So anyway, I created the 'france' folder and dumped all the files into that. Load up the game, nothing but a couple of the kits seemed to have worked (btw yes skin cache is turned off).

What i've also noticied is that there are a few other config files dotted around the graphics folders? Do they need replacing? I danno....

I have an kitpack for the prem and the arsenal kit doesn't work even though it is in there!

Is it the first season? I think the first season Arsenal always have the Burgundy kit, then should by fine afterwards.

But theres a folder for Prem clubs but not one for N.Ireland clubs!

The Arsenal kit is known to not show up, this is because Arsenal gets a diffrent kit after season 1.

Dunno about the other, check wheter there is a config file in the folders.

Which folders?

I got a config with the kitpach, which folders should it go in?

First of all it doesn't really matter where you put your kits and config file aslong as they're together it will be OK.

Because you installed your kits in the 'france' folder you should put the config file there. Hope that solves it.

Aah I see, do I have to replace every single config file which is dotted around the place?

Let me handle this one

Create a folder in the "/sports interactive/football manager 2006/data/graphics/pictures/kits/clubs" directory and name it anything u want... n ire for example.

Then move the kits into that folder.

The config file only points the kit to the team... so it shouldnt matter where the kits are put to be honest.
