Ah, I miss the old FIFA football games when they had the indoor five a side pitch, that was on FIFA97 and FIFA98 (road to the world cup).

Indoor 5 a side pitch and stadium

FIFA claim that every year they make a better football game and yet they take away a good feature like the 5 a side indoor pitch and penalty shooutouts (in fifa 98 you could just go straight onto a shootout, and select the teams, without playing the entire game first).

I really liked the indoor mode even if the goalie couldn't stop the breakaway ever.
And the PK shootout was awesome too, I mean it was fun to play with friends. Besides it allowed you to practice them for that big match.

Right, so we would like the following put into FIFA2006:-
1. An Indoor Stadium, 5 a side or 11 a side, we do not mind either aslong as there is an Indoor astroturf stadium.
2. Penalty shootout option - Instead of playing th whole game first.
3. Squad numbers must not float on the pitch (when I start a new game, the squad numbers float on the pitch and I have to exit that game and start a new one before the squad numbers are back on the players backs, where they should be).
4. Possibly they should add an Editor with the game, instead of waiting for somebody to make an editor roughly 4-5 months down the line after the game has been released and going to all the trouble of making it and leaving us anxious and frustrated until it's released.

Actually I don't want indoor to be 11v11, I want it to be 4v4 and keepers.
I liked the indoor mode because I could play with my 4 all stars and play against 4 other all stars in a semi-realistic indoor mode.
However, I would like to be able to do tourneys in this mode, or something other than friendlies.

hehe its all business dude. If they had a 5-a side mode, nobody would buy Fifa Street. It may have been a feature in previous Fifas but with Street around(& Street 2 in the making) you can forget about that.

fifa98 had so many great things wich they shouldn't had to remove them, including road to wourld cup, indoor stadiums, 5 a side, great skills, all the teams around the world, good corner kicks, they had all the weather condition, snow,rain,sun,day,night, and so on (the snow option +orange ball, why did they had to take the good staff out?) fifa00 had subs cutsceans+edit mode, clasic clubs, u could change the formations, don't foorget all this things where in ps1 (why did they had to take that also out???) its all about$$ that's right, this make me thing that, if they could had this good fatures in ps1 why not in ps2? that makes me more angry with ea, all they do is, take the good staff out and bring them back in caple of years, fifa01, 02, 03, 04 they where embaresing fifa games for ps2, the just immprove the graphic, more licenses, more clubs, low clubs, thats all

In my opinion if FIFA would just listen to what people think should be in the next FIFAs then people wouldn't consider moving on to other football genres like 'This is football 2005' etc.
If FIFA come out with the same features, people would be bored and they hadn't of wished on buying the latest FIFA game in the first place.
They will have to listen to us or otherwise their FIFA gaming sales will go down because it will have the same crappy features, people want new features added to the game and if it means keeping them for a few years in the game then so be it. Otherwise it would be the same gaming features on FIFA every year.

I like the indoor astroturf field idea, but instead of 5-aside, I'm familiar with 6-aside(as it's used in the Major Indoor Soccer League), but having the option of playing 4 vs. 4, 5 vs. 5, 6 vs. 6, 7 vs. 7 all the way to 11 vs. 11...would be greatly suited.
