And from what I've read, you've been 'that guy' who has tried to make jokes out of everything, and generally ends up just trying too hard.

That (constantly trying to be funny) is all I've seen Keegan mention here as well. I don't care what his hobbies are, that's his choice and doesn't make him a better or worse person. This is always going to be an online soccer gaming site first (hence the name), so someone that dedicates time to that is welcome. Especially as his posts have been much less try hard than some of those who don't add anything to the community.

I'm not flaming you, nor do I think you're flaming me. If you have a problem with this sort of thing, you're taking these 'arguments' too seriously.

More than making jokes, I'd call it mocking. I was definitely guilty of trying too hard in the past, but in the present, I'm not trying to impress anyone, anything I post is for my own benefit.

Any poster is welcome here, and while their hobbies are their choices, it is my prerogative to mock or respect them, just as with anything else they might share. Mocking people's posts is as much a part of this community as the football and the gaming, I figured someone who has been here as long as you would have realised that by now.

And I realise that it seems hypocritical, considering that I too have a high-and-mighty attitude, I just don't dedicate my free time to nerdy kit-making. I'm more of a face-maker.

Before I say anything else, let me preface by saying that kitmaking isn't something I think you should be ashamed of, I just think it's akin to Dungeons and Dragons in terms of hobbies. Here's the thing: my virginity is your conjecture, whereas your nerdy kitmaking is fact. Your insistance is great actually, I mean, there's enough material in my posts for you to pick at, but your way is good too, it's eating me up inside.
