Dude, I thought I was crap finishing 4-7-3 on 4 stars!

Bayer Levekusen (Rhein?). I play them in an online league. Team was chosen basically on a lottery draw.
I just played on 2 star and won 6-1.
I had it set to all-attack, 4-3-3. I usually try up the flanks and cross it in, low or high, whichever is available. I'll also try and stop at the top of the 18 (on the flank) and dribble to the middle, then low cross for either the one-timer mid-fielder or low cross into the 6-box for the tap in.
But on 3*, I cannot get the team to gel. Passes go wild, and I'm lucky if I get 2 shots on target the whole match.

3 stars is quite easy for me...the problem I have is the game cheating so hard, which is why I play 3 stars...in the ML it dont cheat as much, but during cup games its shocking..

If you can post your lineup I will see where your going wrong.
Do you also do the individual styles for the players?..like how hard they defend and where they attack.

These tactics are basic but to the job for me..
It all depends really, on 3 stars I am Marseille and unbeaten in the division 2..score alot of goals and only conceded 1 half way through the season..
What is the problem with your team, do they leak too many goals or dont score many?..
And also bear in mind I have never played with Leverkusen and also my option file is Wolfs 3.0 so it might be different players to yours.
I'll give you more info when I know if you have a problem with scoring or conceding..
And also you need to experiment different tactics against different teams, because alot of the teams use annoying tactics, like AC Milan's 5 MF's and 1 CF.
And also try doing the challenge training, it helped me quite a bit, with dribbling and all.

You mean to tell me, on the attacking individual player settings, I should only use two players with 'arrows'? ****, I had them all set with different arrows. LOL
My prob is scoring. I have a pretty decent defense. But putting the ball in the net? Ain't happenin'.

Well I just tried a half with them and tbh there ****..
First half I used the tactics I said, I tried running up the wing and crossing it into the box, problem is...not once did they get a header in rofl..
Now I am trying 3 up front, 1 CF and 1 LW and 1 RW with 3 in defence..
I'll see how it goes, and btw change the omf with a striker as one of those strikers aint really a CF, he can only do OMF..

Having 3 up front is amazing, I am playing Rangers and they do a 4-3-3..
I am ripping them apart up the center with the wingers supporting, only problem is my defence are getting battered from Lovenkrands on the RW because he is so fast.
But with a DMF on high defence and attacking your own goal its basically like 4 in defence as he runs back alot.

The problem I had is these players aint good, so you cant go doing solo runs and shooting from 50 yards out.
Try and get it to a winger and cut in to their box and do the very low cross (circle 3 times)..
And you also have to experiment with different balls, as some teams have a big defence while others have short players, so they aint got much of a chance heading the ball away.

And as usual rangers had 4 shots with 1 on target, and 1 in the goals..happens all the time when I play, you destroy a team for 70 minutes flat out, then when you score, they run up and take 1 shot and its a goal..
Suppose its just the CPU cheating to make it even..

Also it helps being good at FK's and CK's..as they helped me to the win
