Iiro Rantala New Trio - Have you heard of them?

Starting XI
Well, so I was browsing randomly through YouTube the other day and found this video of a teenage-looking beatboxer named Felix Zenger. It's sort of like a promo for his own website or something like that, and it was pretty darn cool (in fact one of the best beatbox performance I've ever seen :icon_spin:):

His skills got me interested so I decided to look at more stuff with him involved and the first thing I saw in the related videos column was this video clip called "Sh*t Catapult":

Definitely the coolest jazz I've listened to! A wonderful mix between the traditional jazzy tunes played by the pianist and electric guitar and beatboxing. All in all a solid composition :)

So I've found out that this Finnish jazz band is called "Iiro Rantala New Trio", founded by the pianist Iiro Rantala. The other two members are guitarist Marzi Nyman and beatboxer Felix Zenger.

So far they've released one album called "Elmo", in which the best ones are "Elmo" and "Sh*t Catapult" IMO. You may wanna check out the album here: http://www.last.fm/music/Iiro+Rantala+New+Trio

Iiro Rantala is maybe the best/most famous jazz pianist in Finland. He used to have a band called Trio Töykeät (Trio Rude). They quit last year(?), and Iiro started getting a new band together. I think the beatboxer was a guest in his Music tv-show Iirottelua, where he got the idea it could be interesting to make music with him.

Marzi Nyman is also one of the best, if not the best Finnish guitarist. Originally he became famous playing in a studio band on a Finnish talk show. Since then he's done lots of different work, being sort of a freelancer musician. I've seen him a couple of times, once in my home town, where he filled in for Kode Koistinen from the rock band Neljä Ruusua (Four Roses). The other time he was playing with the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, when they performed ABBA songs with Rajaton, a Finnish A Cappella -group. Rantala played in that show too, if I remember correctly.

They're both absolutely amazing musicians with great variance of styles.
