That last thing he said was just retarded but the rest of it makes sense to me. I've always said that the sport needs at least one more ref. Having a ref stand behind each goal to have a better view of the happenings in the box is actually not a bad idea at all. I don't see what the age or the yellow flag have to do with it.

By the way, I bet it was Platini's idea to take the trophy celebration back to stands the way it used to be. Great move

I can't see why you'd complain because it can't hurt but those linesman prove that it's useless. If you need another man, linesman should speak up to the ref when they see something or the ref should consult them when he's unsure but that never seems to be the case so I don't see how the added men would help. The fourth official should serve the same sort of purpose of these extra two men if anything.
