We all know that Italy is not playing with their best team and the players are not fit either. Iceland is a small country though which any decent team *should* beat.

If you look at the results and see Iceland 2-0 Italy it sure is an odd thing.

I can think of 20 defenders who deserve a spot on NT more than Materazzi. Hes the only thing that could prevent Inter from being a Scudetto contender.

Materazzi is in the mold of Jorge Costa, two guys with quick pace.
