hrm this games really fun!!! pes 3 demo, idownloaded i played and this is what i think
this games really addictive and fun, now i know why all the hype is about the konami soccer games but...
it's not realistic, it just doens't feel like soccer, people said fifa is arcade gamestyle, but i disagree, pes 3 is arcade game style. it just doesn't feel like soccer, the players run too fast, and the field is too small and out of proportion. and the ball feels too light, it feels like ur playing with a foam ball, but yeh this game and fifa 04 is better in different ways.this game is really fun though but it's a bit overrated i think, it's no way realistic, it doesn't feel like soccer. and i'd like to finish off with this
pes3 is really fun and addictive
fifa has more depth and feels more realistic.
yeh but i'mr eally looking forward to WE7, who knows, that game might drive me away from fifa.

I beg to disagree strongly...I don't know what your idea of realistic is, but PES3 is as realistic as it gets, play it for a couple of weeks (that is if you have played it, I doubt the integrity of any poster who doesn't go into specifics but rather opts fot a broad description ;) ) and then come back to us with your thoughts, it takes dozens of hours to get to grips with, hundreds to become good. Don't rush, play it like football, you'll see its the most fun, addictive and realistic sports simulation in gaming history.

Millions agree with me, give it time, patience and perseverence.

yeh i know what u mean, it has it's own realistic feel to it but, the player runs too fast, compared to the size of the field. in real soccer the field is huge and players don't run that fast but they pass fast. this game would be really good if only the field was larger
oh and don't mis understand me i really really like this game it's really fun, but it kinda makes me miss the depth of fifa.

nah PES doesnt feel real tbh

its more like nintendo world cup or whatever it was back on the nes in those days,

u can just ding ding ding the ball about willy nilly almost, with little regard for timing/power or direction in some instances and one touch football it all the way u the pitch

it is MORE like pinball i would say than fifa cos u can whip the first time passes about

but the game is also more realistic in other ways than fifa

FIFA and depth don't belong in the same sentence. Along with "realistic" and "enjoyable".

What kind of depth does FIFA hava and better than PES? (expect the sponsor of the kits and license, again, I 've said many times. it is patchable)

Look at the player attriubutes, for example. FIFA even always mess up with the prefered foot of the players. And no need to talk about the player models and animations.

Ahh i see you have the "to fast gameplay problem". Well we all had it when we first tried the pes3 demo, and to fix this problem just change your windows resolution to 1024x768 and your pes3 res to : 1024x768 and in windowed mode. The speed of the gameplay will be normal. Hope you'll fix the problem , then you'll see that the game is more realistic!

You obviously don't watch real soccer very often do you? Or atleast you don't watch world class players. Players like the ones in the demo are top players from top nations and let me tell you in real life they can blaze down the field in a heartbeat. You also not going to find anywhere near the depth of formations, strategies, and specific player styles on any other game. When I first downloaded the PES 3 demo I sucked real bad. I watched a premiership game and came back and tried to play PES3 like the players I just watched and my skill increased very much. If that isint real I dont know what is.

lol i watch alot i played for a club for a few years aswell yeh what i mean is the speed isn't too bad but it is compared to size of field, yes players can have quick bursts of speed and rocket across the field but not THAT fast, the thing with pes players is, it doesn't LOOK like they are going fast, but because of the field size they reach the other side of the field very quickly . yeh whati meant about depth in fifa is like what that guy said about pes, in pes u can kinda one touch ur waythrough the whole thing fifa u need to like do a bit more, fifa depth i mean u can really feel the ball is separate from the player when u dribble. and ya know just those tiny little gameplay on passing and stuff, not too much of a difference, just a little. yeh and come to think of it, i might have liked pes around the same as fifa or maybe a little more if only the field was bigger. the field is definately too small, kinda wrecks the good gameplay the game was built in with.
