I never care for licenses cuz there is patches that fix the licenses thing .
I like both fifa and pes .
I get bored easily from playin' same game .
so i apply every new patch to fifa or pes so i can't get bored .

This species fail to master any game involving skills, tend to get bored veri easily without exploring the depth "some" games might offer (fifa not included)

a very good analogy can be:
1) i like football.. but I also like tennis... I can hit the balls in both ..but I get bored easily so I'll just kick the balls like American do...while playing tennis like an elderly...

2) i like chess, but I also like pokers.... I know how to play in both...but I can be defeated by an AI runs on a double AA batteries built with the logic of a first yr comp sci student..

Although Fifa isnt as good , it still provides competition for PES , which means the developers will have to improve it every year. PES fans although you hate it , you should be thankful for fifa , formaking PES the games it is today.

PES wont lose its realism, it already has (almost) perfect gameplay. They are just improving it every year, sticking to the basics of football, unlike FIFA that takes 1 step forward and 3 steps backward.

I can swear every FIFA fan in here is about 16 yrs. old..the way they post, the way they act, and the way their adittude is makes me believe that they`re still green and care more about arcade+fun than real mature games that add flavor of various categories..

You just can`t tell me that FIFA improved more than PES/WE..

PES1 offers better gameplay and yes even realistic graphics than FIFA 2005. I really don`t understand why do we have this PES/WE vs FIFA thingy going on..

It is believed that players who play PES/WE games are the ones who really know everything about football, the way it should be played and what it takes to become good at it..

How can a FIFA game be good when the ball travels 100mph ..or when it shows the fire as the ball flies towards the goal..

How can a football goal look like a hockey goal..with nets made by iron.. ??

And Andrew you are wrong my man. FIFA can lose its license but PES/WE can`t lose the awesome gameplay and very soon there will be everything official with licenses just like in FIFA..

People that don`t play video games especially football ones think that FIFA is the best football game out there simply because of it`s strongly commercialized name.. however the good games, the hidden ones are the ones that are actually good..

It`s just like hackers/crackers/script kiddie..

Hacker - a true person who believes in his/her skills. They know several programming languages and they are usually inteligent. Their computer skills are THE BEST and they usually keep low profile, don`t come and start talking loads of crap on IRC.. Now I would WE/PES in this category..because KONAMI doesn`t use anything artificial like FIFA does.. "off-the-ball-control" or "the-first-touch" these catch-phrases.. bring EA tons of $$$ they can trick children but cannot scare a good professional gamer..

Now cracker..or script kiddie is a person who goes and threatens other people letting them believe that they have computer + hacking skills where in fact they steal source codes/documents from real hackers/programmers. Then they claim its their own. These people are usualy called.. LAMERS.. and real hackers can usually spot them the way they talk "h4x0r" or "l4m3r" the cracker talk.. so hacker(pes/we) vs cracker (fifa).. I think I told you everything ...

It dawns onto me that most of you are either in school or do not know how the business world works. With EA's tons of monies, they can easily poached the producer from KCET and Fifa would have PES gameplay with all the official licences.

It is more difficult for Konami to obtain all the official licences. Welcome to the real world.

Fifa is good .PES/WE is near perfect.Fifa05-8.6 PES4-9.4
A perfect game should have-

lisencing-all,official kits,balls,team and player names,stadium names textures ,interior(fifa),realistic pitches and detail like goalpoasts(PES)

Gameplay(most impt)- PES swaying, dribbling, shooting,tusscling,
tackling,set pieces,corners etc,realism

refereing-PES inteligent refreeing who even plays advantage properly

Career mode-(mixed)fifa official tournaments and leagues,interface such as stats and squad management,trade in real pounds
Transfermarket -search engine in PES, more stats, recieving applications,trade players,transfering of players and training of young players

Edit and creation mode-edit orig players like PES. Create players and with commentary ,stats,special stats and so on .PES and FIFA detailed.

EA is makin' games for people who don't really play the game .like me i play real football about 2-3 hours a day . so i prefer pes i have my cousin who don't even love football (real) he adores fifa .
