Well after a year, and reading a lot of thread. Who would you take... C. Ronaldo or Ronaldinho ?

I ask this 'cause some you (ManU fans) think already that C. Ronaldo is god, which is very respectable, but althought watching Ronaldinho this year in Barcelona was amazing. Everybody knows that Ferguson didn't want to pay maybe a couple of more millions to have him. But again, who would you rather have ?

1. i hope we get both ;)

2. i never think c.ronaldo was "god" (or you mean "good")?

3. ronaldinho is a playmaker while c.ronaldo was a winger. so don't compare them but in fact, we need a good playmaker like ronaldinho

4. wrong. not SAF don't want to spend more money on him but if those PLC so hesitate couple million to get ronaldinho but spend so much on rooney

Ronaldinho is better now but dont forget that C. Ronaldo is only 18. :rolleyes:

in Chinese there is a saying "Choi Yung Sut Mar, Yin Ji Fei Fook?"
which means "a loss may turn out to be a gain" or "A blessing in disguise". :D

Right now, Ronaldinho without doubt. But remember, C Ronaldo is still young, and has the potential to be as good as Ronaldinho. But that will be in about 5 years!

Also, it's crazy that Ferguson didn't want to pay more than £21 million on the best player in the world (Ronaldinho), but is willing to pay £25 million for Rooney.

I think Ronaldinho no doubt is the best player , but he would have been wasted at man u , and played on the wing , i dont think the epl would have suited him , as he wouldnt have the time and space for his dribbles.

so Zizou,Henry,Ruud,Nedved,etc were not the best in the world?


as for this comparision,yes ronaldinho would have changed our last season but we can see that C. Ronaldo has the potential to become even a bigger m,ega star in the upcoming years.
we can't say that this is a loss.
in C Ronaldo,we have found an answer to the masterskills of Best

ronaldhino... especially with a shorter-term focus...(eg. now)

however, we must remember that ronaldinho costs twice as much as ronaldo...and the fact that ronaldo still have another 5 years to catch up....

i don't know (havn't seen him until WC2004), was ronaldinho this good when he was 18?

Obviously would swap Rooney for Ronaldinho any day... however not so sure swapping Ronaldo with Ronaldinho now that we know what Ronaldo can do and what he could potentially become...
