If you want to score any long distance free kick (and I mean any, starting for like 30 meters), simply use the 2 players method.
Select one to pass the ball and another with 90+shot-power (like Sheva) to kick it. Fill the bar to like 3/4 and celebrate... the keeper is way ahead of the place he should be!! There's no chance of defending.

Already scored from 30...33...37 and 43 meters. Just pressed up during fill of the energy bar.
This can be quite cool against the computer, but kinda lame against humanoids...

Works for WE9 PS2 and PSP and PES5.

Oh Damn this works! Just tried it in training! Damn, I hope this gets fixed for WE9I :nape:

EDIT: I tried this "bug" a few more times and it seems to work best when you have a shot lined up in the center of the pitch. Even then its not very consistant. Ill keep practicing this new discovery.

there are always way to score easily. This game is for football lovers, not for those who want to only score and win. I mean, make a great action is way better than using any trick to score easily. :jambo:

This reminds me of the Beckham trick a few games back. Except that one was from about 18m out.

Anyway, it sounds like a lot of factors need to be in place for it to work. I don't see it being a problem.

I know how to get two player mode but once I do that, I don't know how to make my second player lay it off for the first.

It used to be I tapped the left analog but now it's another button and I don't know what it is :D

Push L2 for the 2 Player free kick mode.
Then push L1+X to tap with the secondplayer.

Anyway, if you get such a free-kick against you, then just push and hold the triangle button just after the kicker has shoot, not before the shoot !

Do ya think this will working Online against another Human if they have Manual Keeper selected ?

Surely just brining the keeper out of the goal slightly when the ball is on route to cut the angle down might actually prevent this from happening ?

Just a thought.
