You must have been the 999th person to ask me that.

It's David Dunn, the English answer to C. Ronaldo :)

I think that limiting foreign players should be up the football clubs and the clubs conscience. Doing it this way is retarded.

8 per team is a good and fair limit. They simply have to be registered with the team and that's it, no such rule where such and such number of national players have to start each game. That's a retarded rule.

This is a stupid rule. The biggest problem with club football today is the "rich get richer" mentality that UEFA embraces. This rule is designed to punish "uppity small clubs" like Bolton (17 different nationalities or so) who search far and wide to find good players for a good bargain and succeed. Big clubs can mop up the best national talent, while smaller clubs have to pad their roster with inferior native players, instead of filling those roster spots with talented foreigners.

Blatter is continuing the destructive path of oligarchy in club football.

Stupid rule. Good homegrown talent is not only hard to find but is becoming increasingly expensive. I mean look at the prices being paid nowadays, it's ridiculous, clubs can't just pull money out their ass to pay for these players. You shouldn't look at the passport of the player, but rather their quality. Blatter can go f*ck himself.

I think it would be an interesting idea, see how things work out, it would make internationals a lot better I think, more depth.

The EPL will pretty much have to fold, leaving the Coca Cola championship to become the new EPL.

Inter would also be screwed. Never see this happening though, but I wish it would, or theyd take at least some action.

Imagine Brazilians being restricted to the Brazilian league. Man, they'd be ****ed.

Ajax has too many foreigners but our biggest talents will always remain Dutch. Expect to see more Moroccans/Turks though because there's so many of them and a lot of them are born in Holland. The guy who won "Biggest Youth Talent" in 04/05, his last name is "Yildirim." But... Ryan Babel, Nigel de Jong, Wesley Sneijder.

United and Arse would have to stop stealing Italian talents. (Over to you, Mikey.)
