Well, I guess the title may birng some people around to answer me this thread. You see, in the FIFA 2003 page, I was complaining (to no one, for what it seems) that I couldn't see the numbers on the shirts. It was said in another thread that it's because of the video card. OK.
But now, how come FIFA 2004 runs in my notebook with visible back numbers if it should ask for the same or an upgraded video card? (well, actually, the only problem is with the adboards - ALL of them are of EA Sports)
Does any good soul have the answer to share with me?

EDIT1: FIFA 2005 also runs the same way, with three differences:
1. different adboards can be viewed;
2. it's less smooth; and
3. during the match, the game locks down.

EDIT2: Actually, I have only played the demo of the game, but the 2003 demo has the same problem of the full game.

in 2003 you can only see the numbers on the back if in the settings you put the detail level on high, it might have worked on medium too, i'm not sure, i'm guesing for 04 and 05 the numbers on the back weren't past of the detail settings and were shown no matter what.
