I've found a frame rate limiter program on the net (that works). So basically i set my settings to 640x480 on low detail (looks the same as any other setting to me) to make it run very fast. On average without the limiter, it would run at around 200fps on this setting (whoa!), but with it limiting at 60fps, the game runs like a dream 90% of the time (only slowdown i've seen is minor in the boxes). I've tried this in different stadiums and the same great results. So i'll put the program on my site when it's ready (the site) and you guys can get it off of there to try it. If you dont trust me, scan it with your trojan scanners and virus scanners and you'll see it's safe. I need someone to host it cause i can't do it myself , so put down an email and i'll send it to who i can so hopefully one of you guys can put it up somewhere for download. Thanks.
