I want to start off by stating how much I love the month of September! And especially so this year ...
There are good days and there are better days…September proved to be a bumper month with world class events happening almost everyday, leaving us breathless. Here are some of them, in no particular order:
The start of the Champions League; Golf's four tournament playoff series – the FEDEX Cup (Tiger Woods won the US$10 million prize); The ladies' Solheim Cup (the women are technically more graceful to watch than the men); The FIFA Women's World Cup (surprisingly exciting and the level of skill displayed this year is higher); The ICC World Twenty20 Championships (India winning was the icing on the cake), the Rugby World Cup (which is still ongoing); Ferrari making the Formula One season extremely exciting; The hunt for October ball in the Major Leagues (which is still ongoing in the National League); The start of the NFL season (Green Bay starting 3-0); Roger Federer winning his 12th Grand Slam title at the US Open; Asafa Powell breaking his own World 100 meters record (9.74s); Jose Mourinho and Chelsea parting company; Casey Stoner winning his first MotoGP ... etc etc
What are your views????Is Septemer this year special?
