i can`t run the socceraccess patch!!!!!!!!!

i
1-reinstaled fifa 2002 ( i have the original no copies)
2-instaled the patch
3-run the logo of the worldcup in my desktop
4-"an error happened in Fifa 2002.exe this program is closed"


this happens everytime i try to use the patch
i try in windows 98 and xp


what could i do?

I have a problem with this too. I get all the way to where the actual game should start and then it crashes back to desktop. Anyone know why. I use windows XP.

I know that hdabmx sayd that he has an original fifa2002, but anyway, I found out that if you haven't got the cd in the cdrom, the patch wont work, so to the people who has a ripped fifa2002, bad news

this is a solution someone gave me because it worked for him: he deleted the file fifa2002.exe, and renamed the file wc2002.exe to fifa2002.exe and then he executed that fileand worked, please all of you try this and let me know what happens

well i don think anyone has the same problem as mine...

i cant install some of the files

it give me a CRC error..

CRC error - cannot install the following file
D:/GAMES/EASPORT/FIFA2002/fifa2002WC.exe

mind telling me why Hakeem?? pls!!

because i really think this will be a very gd patch and wish to play it.....

problem

it worked the first time i did it but now i get an error everytime!!!

i get a run time error "could not open folder...."

the patch looks great it'll be a shame if it only for CD owners.

if u go to the faces and try 2 install it DOES say "please insert fifa2002 CD"

I think that the CRC error is because the file was bad downloaded, try downloading the file again.
And with the possible solution with renaming files, it worked for some people, and I forgot to tell you that after renaming the files you have to execute the file that now its fifa2002.exe and NOT the icon in the desktop, try it please

some answers

1) if you open the wc edition icon from the desktop, and then press on te ball to play and mark an erro, is because you have to put the cd before opnening the icon, and wait until the pc read the cd
2) there are no real group. i thing the only way to play with some of the original groupos is playing the challenges
3) if you have erros while installing the patchg, is because your fifa has to be installed into:
c:/programfiles/EASports/fifa2002
and not in another folders like
mi games/easportsa/fifa/fifa2002 or something like that.. because this patch has extra things that only work in the directory i give you.

i must say i am really impressed how many people got errors with the soccer access patch...

i think it may be a great patch but i didn't test it just because i had problems with other stuff from soccer access and it looks like this wc patch is the "champion of the problems"...

i wonder why the soccer access patches causes so many problems. i don't have anything against soccer access. just wondering why it happens...

Hey, mataderosrules, did you install all 9 parts of WC? I had the same before I downloaded all 9 parts ( 1 through 9, 10 and 11 are optional )

I have done everything 100% correct, i've made severals unistallations and installations but the same problem remains
the patch don't work...
Socceraccess have made a huge potato here................

somewhere in the instractions i saw that is necessary the copy of world cup 2001 cd rom ??????????????? in order to run this patch. Is that possible?
