I can´t save my career?!

I´ve hade FIFA06 for about a week now. I have the Xbox version. Today I started to play in Career Mode. But, when I wanted to save my career, I couldn´t! It says "Can´t save Career". But theres is a savefile. When I try to load it, it says "There seems to be a damaged savefile" or something.

I´ve tried to start about ten new careers, but I never can save it. Always the same problem. And yes, I have checked the memory on my Xbox hard disk. There is plenty of space.

Someone else who have experienced this problem? It´s a original copy for Xbox so it´s weird that this could happen?

Maybe try hiring another copy of the game to see if u can save a career with that copy, if it doesn't work with that copy either then u can probly say it's a problem with the memory space.

Well as I already wrote, there is no problem with the memory space. I only have about 6-7 savefiles on my HD. And I really can´t imagine that a savefile for a career can be that big? This is really weird and annoying. And I don´t know how I will be able to hire another copy of the game, just to try if it´s a problem with that one too.

Here in Aus we can go to most video stores and they stock games for hire as well.

I assume you've been able to save your settings and so forth?

Yes, there is no problem with saving the other things. Squads, tournaments, settings and so can be saved without any problems. It´s just the Careers that I can´t save.

That sounds more like a bug with that particular copy of the game, do u know someone else with an Xbox that u can try the same thing on their machine with your copy of the game?

Well, not really. But I have to look around. It´s a little bit annoying...
