I thought there was somebody hanging on to the out of control chopper, causing it to crash into the other chopper. Maybe it was one of the first few zombies (as I call it) that was hanging on to it. That's what I remembered, somebody clinging on to that chopper.

And just to clear up that chopper argument, here's the frame right before the flashback ends, you can clearly see the blue chopper in frame about to hit the one with the family in it

Aw cool, i see they just ran out of money to shoot the crash scene.


Now that i think about it, its not such a bad movie afterall. It might be because i was so hyped by the trailer and then was very dissapointed to see that they just threw us right into the middle of things, instead of going step by step. Its like watching the last few minutes of a game after all the goals have been scored already.

Why couldn't they just have decided to make the flashback like it is in the movie. It's pretty obvious the sudden cut away from that flashback is caused by his waking up.


Anyways, I loved the movie. Even though it had zombies, and I think zombie-films are lame as **** (some funny though).

Will Smith. Awesome performance, there were several scenes where I just couldn't figure out what to feel/believe.

Great performance by Will Smith (the scene with Samantha in the lab ) but mediocre movie. The idea behind it was really good but I think it could of been done a lot better. The ending left A LOT to be desired and the movie was filled with plot holes throughout. Overall though I still enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Well, there are tunnels in NYC that were not seen being destroyed (Holland Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel etc..).

Also, Neville said that the zombies show complete and full desocialization, now i don't know how brain works exactly, but i thought that when heart stops brain stops functioning as well, then how come dead and supposedly desocialized zombies were able to think just as well as humans, having dogs on leashes, knowing that light is bad, clearly having leaders and followers in their ranks and working together to achieve some goal. That's some high level socialization sings to me.

Neville was undergoing scientific research, and that desocialization comment was just a hypothesis. A prediction can always turn out to be wrong in science.


Overall, I agree that the movie sucked ass.

Theatrical Alternate Ending? Anybody seen this yet?

I found it and actually i like the alternate one. It makes the zombies seem like a whole new race, which supports my suspicions that they can think and act as intelligent beings and not brainless walking corpses. I read that in the book that's what "Legend" meant, that to zombies Neville actually became as a legend, as if the roles reversed and now they were the regular beings ruling earth, while the one human being was a legend. While in our world the people are regular beings ruling earth and zombies are somewhat of a legend, hence I Am Legend. I guess the book explains it better. Either way, Warner Bros made **** loads of money off it and don't care what ending was shown.

TOTALYY BS!!!!!!!!!! Don't waste your time or money on this film. It was bad. I actually think Hitman was better than this. Yes, Smith's acting was good as usual but the movie was totally boring and utter BS from starting to ending. I can't believe the IMDB rating for this movie. I did give it a 5/10 or less. If you want to see this movie........got links to DVD Screener.....like always. PM me if you want to waste your time downloading it.

Agreed, Will Smith was gd, but i thought this movie was poor!
