Huntington, WV

In about 3 weeks time, more specifically on August 15th, I shall be leaving my little nest here in Iceland and will be moving to the little College town of Huntington in the state of West Virginia. I will be living there for about 9 months while I attend classes at Marshall University.

Now, I know just about nothing about the town of Huntington, so I was thinking, people around here, who either live there or have at some point in their lives visited this town, could you inform me about the main things about Huntington? Best places to get drunk, to eat, to see naked chicks, to shop etc etc etc.

I would greatly appreciate any information made available to me, as the only things I've been able to google are stuff like population and politics and facts like that. The individuals who can give me some information will be plus repped by me, and will receive a good guide about Iceland should he wish to visit this fabulous country of mine.

I've driven through West Virginia, only made a couple stops. Didn't see many chicks though, but I did spot a few that would fit this description ..

Yeah I did too. It wasn't Huntington, but the gas station/McDonald's I stopped at was very.... um..... interesting. I'm sure the campus is fine, but the state is extremely WT.

Obtain "We are Marshall", a football movie set in Huntington. It's not very good but I guess it'll give you an idea of what the place is like.
