Hows ur season???

Currently, my high school team has 6 wins 2 loses and a single draw. Last year we were New York State Champs. (and for those of you who don't know, there is no official national HS champion, so we went as far as we could) The problem this year is that we graduated 10 seniors, 6 of them starters last year. Half our team this year are rookies including me. Our last game was a derby cup called the Chili "E" Bowl. It's an annual derby between Gates Chili HS(my HS) and rivals Churchville-Chili HS. Chili is a such a big town that they split it up and joined it with small neighboring towns.

Last season we lost in finals n were 2nd in league. hopefully we can win something next year.

Lol. It's also funny to see how many of you in here think they'll turn pro. My advice to ya'll is forget about it, do well in school, so you have teh chance to get yourself a decent education. Besides that just make sure you just enjoy playing football on your own level.

Unless you're already in a youth acadamy I give ya'll very small chances of making it. Most kids who actually become a pro have been in acadamies at the age of 8 or so. At least here in Holland. And even then many of them never make it.

Ummmm.. No, really. I'm not gaining anything from lying on an internet forum so why should I?

It really isn't a big deal if you've been a sprinter all your life, doing 100 in 10.9.
I have a friend who can clock it in 10.8.

My team lost our first game 3-1, and tied our second game 1-1. I almost had a chance to win it for us at the very end of the game, as there was a ball that was poorly cleared out of the other teams end as I rushed up from central defense to hopefully hit it on the first touch and get a nice powerful shot on net... I called for the ball but one of my other teammates (the guy who scored our goal) ran in and grabbed it, then lost possesion and the game ended.

Oh well. Even if I had hit it, it only had a 50% chance that it would go on target as opposed to flying very far away from the net lol.

My team season started like 4 weeks ago... I just start to training this week, because of a f*cking knee injury that take almost 4 months to recover.

Started this week, and i will take a bit to get my usual form, in one week i should be at 100%, at least i hope so.

My muscles are so f*cked up because of the stopage time, and i can't even play like 5 minutes :|

Anyway, hope i can recover well, and be in the call-up next week.

More important of all ,the knee is in conditions, i think...

There are always exceptions though. Liedson (Sporting Club de Portugal) only got to play on a professional team at the age of 24 or so.

Football's all about opinions.... mhflierman if you dont have a dream, how can a dream come true? We just share our footballing experiences and hope to get as high as we can  Since we talk about proper pro players a lot of the time, it's nice to hear about our experiences, I think anyway.

Before going to Prudentópolis, Flamengo and then Corinthians. The same year he joined Corinthians, he was signed by Sporting. Things happened really quickly for him.
