How will PES run on my system?

I've got the demo of PES3 and it runs slow but not all the time. I was wondering if the full game would be the same? Will it run on/How do you think it will run on:

AthlonXP 1600+
512MB PC133 RAM
GeForce4 MX 420 64MB

?

Thanks for any info.

Won't run at all. You have a MX card, no MX card will be abled to run it, it's bellow the system requirements. It's also a 64mb card which means i can safely say you won't be abled to run it. I suggest you get another graphics card mate

...but you can try nevertheless
many ppl have worse specs than you and with some speed ups (3D Anal +double speed) they can play it quite smooth

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to try it, i'll see about buying it, it's hard though because no shops seem to stock the PC version now, so i'll have to keep looking.

One thing i've heard about is disabling sound, which can cause a speed up - is this in the actual game or in Windows/Dxdiag? Because in the demo there are no sound options (well not that I know of) Is there anything I can try regarding this with the demo?

PS - just downgraded my drivers from Nvidias 56.72 (caused black lines on the pitch) to some unofficial Omega GeForce Drivers, and it seems to be running better.

my suggest is not to try tweaking ur card etc. It will be a waste of time searching if u don't know how to do it and u may burn it. So just get a new card. Look for 9600 (ati) or the new X series

if he can buy new card - super
but if not (it cost a lot though), you can try to run it with tricks through 3D Analyzer
plus tweaking graphic card with Riva Tuner is 100% safety when you choose safety settings

Hmm I know that Geforce4 MX cards are pretty useless (i've just been reading how they're worse than the GF3) but would a MX440 be much of an improvement over my current MX420? It's just that my dad's computer used to have the 440 in but it's now spare, i'm just wondering if its actually worth swapping over with mine or will i see no improvment?

Edit: Must of been posting at the same time Gallina, do you have any specific settings to get it to run perfectly? Like what resolution/detail do you use and whats your system spec?

Having said all this, i've just been playing the demo at 640,480 - full screen - medium detail - and its been running very well with these different drivers.

I had a Geforce MX 440 and still got major slowdowns no matter what I did, I tried for about a month non stop to get it to run properly. I used the acceleration patch and all the other methods mentioned etc...but the gameplay wasn't running at natural speed, it was jerky and just wrong. I got myself a Geforce 4 TI 4400 128mb and it runs perfectly on maximum settings; 1280-1024 high quality. I have a 1.7 ghz processor and 512mb ram.

I was thinking of getting a new VGA card to replace this slow MX420. I always go for GeForce, but what about ATI? And what type would I want? Like there's a magazine I've just got which reads "RADEON CARDS FROM £22" - is this good? Could i get something better than my GF4 MX420 for between £20-30?Thanks for any advice!

Edit - ie - would a card like this be any good, not just for PES3, but in general?
