How to win of the big lads?

Guys, as you might know I'm playing with Everton and doing pretty decent (2nd place equal points but two games ahead with nr. 1 Man Utd), but everytime I face a big gun my players seem to be overrun. For example I played Man Utd(league cup), Chelsea, Liverpool and again Man Utd(premiership), and I get owned all the time. Only against Chelsea I scrambled away a point, but that was very lucky, against 'pool and Man Utd I've lost pretty big. Then again I seem to be able to handle the mid tablers well but as you see not the big guns.

Anyone have any advice?

play the catennacio (sp?) I did it with my Wolves team after promotion to the EPL and I beat Arsenal 2-0 on the season opener despite being outshot 25 to 6

You need a top class midfielder or striker. I played as Blackburn in my second season where my Balaban hit form. Beaten United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. My midfield was Pedersen, Emerton, Thompson and Strand. A decent combo should be said.

you just got to change you style of play, and tactic, when you play against those clubs..i must say i played with newcastle a couple of seasons and had the same problem too, although everton i admit may be even more difficult...

Well I've beaten a big gun at last, Arsenal went down 1 to 0, using a little less conservative tactic. Very lucky again though, a long range shot from van der Meyde did it for me.

Im West Brom, and I seem to win quite a lot vs. ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Especially ManU and Arsenal seem to lose very often to me.

I play a 4-5-1, my DMC marks their striker and one of my MC's marks their playmaker. Ill go with a targetman striker (Zigic in my case) and play the long ball towards him.
