How to take a freekick!!????

Can somebody tell me how to take a good free kick (score)..?
Because, I have the good timing, I press D right in the green part of the shootingbar, I aim good, with SHIFT on the lower right of the bal, the bal is aimed at the topcorner....

So what do I do wrong? shouldn't I press D (shoot) ? :(

maybe you're putting the power up to high? Try pressing the 2nd D (First D-Start, Second D-Set Power, Third D-Shoot) a little earlier, halfway works well for me :)

okay, thanks, but then the indicator will be outside the green(good) part of the bar... strange, if you're right, this is a bug from EA...

you must play with the power bar i think. at a range of 20 meters or so it goes in when you shoot with more power... i have only one goal in freekicks from seedorf.. and that was a bit lucky i think ...
