How to swerve the ball in free kicks?

in previous FIFA-s i used SHIFT button to swerve the ball, but now the game doesnt offer target mark and swerve option...help me pls

P.S. The computer opponent makes swerves in free kicks but i dont

It's a bug that EA didn't pick up until too late, the shift key doesn't have any effect as you try to place swerve on the ball. Try to see if u can get hold of a reasonably priced gamepad otherwise you won't be able to do it.

wel i have a generic gamepad and it makes swerves in free kicks just fine and probably makes it also in corners (i can't notice it but it should)
I don't know about keyboard but maybe MIKAS is right and u need to but a gamepad with dual analoge and works with fifa just fine

The shift button does work, you just need to hold it down and across for a little bit longer and after the screen moves for a bit and the player doesnt, he finally moves across and you can curl the ball. Its not perfect but it does work.

Yes..it does work..i have a generci gamepad..but often use the keyboard to play wid my frnds...and it does curl the ball
Here r the steps!
1.us the arrow keys to choose a target region...left or right side of net..consider the target keeping in mind the curl u r going to put
2.Now keep the shift key pressed and use the arrow keys to chaneg the player position..the screen shud not move..only player shud
3.Now press the Shoot button and try to stop in the blue rehion..and presto..a GOAL!!

Can somebody make arrows for freekicks in fifa2006

Is it posible to make arowws for free kicks in fifa 2006.
Can EA make a patch I think its not so hard for them to do that..
