how to know the version of my fifa08 ?

When I installed the Official patch for fifa 08 , this error massage appeared

Old file not found . However a file of the same name was found . no update done since file contents do not match

I asked about this and been told that the patch may not match my fifa version

so , how to know my version ?

But, when you install FIFA 08 for the first time, you can select in which language.

for example, English, Swedish, Danish (this is called Nordic) your current version of FIFA 08.

Download a copy of Rinaldo's File Master, use it to extract the LOCALE.INI file from CONFIG.DAT and check the value of the SKU_NAME parameter.

As to your patching problem, you need to move the error dialog so that you can see the progress dialog underneath and let us know which file it is failing on and at what percentage of the process. If it is INI_PC.BIG at 78% then you need to search the official EA UK forums for a post about fixing that by downloading a different version of that one file. If it is anything else, and you've applied the roster patch before trying to apply the second patch, then you've either modified your FIFA installation in some way as to invalidate the patch (eg. installing a no DVD crack, editing CONFIG.DAT using a tool like File Master, editing the game data using a tool like Creation Master) or you've got the wrong version of the patch.

I am so embarrassed for replying so late , I am so sorry

my version is central and when i try to install the patch version 2 ( winter transfers) is stop at 50 % because of FIFA.EXE
so how can i solve it , does anybody have the original fifa.exe
