How To Fix The Slow Motion In PES 3 - Here!

Hi guys.I too have a problem with the demo,and i thing it´s card related.When i run the game,that first white screen where it says "Konami" suddenly starts to blink and freezes.in order to correct this,i have to go back to Windows and then revert again to PES.This also happens in other menus,where i again have to use the same technique.
In the game itself,the pitch looks awful,with strange lines all over the place.I updated my drivers(I have a p4 2.4ghz,256 DDR and a Gforce4 MX440),but the problem remained.
Nevertheless,the game runs pretty smootlhy,and if it wasn´t for this prob,i could´ve been enjoying myself with the demo until the final version comes out. Any suggestions regarding this issue?

Any help is aprreciated

I agree about refresh rates. I upped mine on my geforce 4400 ti to 85hz at 1024x768 and the game ran at the right speed. I had to change AF to 2x.
The only problem I have now is a slight 'tearing' of the image. Maybe need to update the drivers.

pyny, just revert your video card driver to a microsoft certificated version such as v45.23 The latest drivers have the problem your described.

haha, your fix for it running slow is to turn down the details. i bet no one else thought of that

pointed in this diection for help .... had slow-mo I fixed it just by turning off both ( A/A features ) on my GF4 TI4200 128Mb cards.

Problem now is the play is to fast .. players legs going 100mhp and the animation of the running player looks bad. In slow-mo you could see that the animation was fine, but at the speed I am seeing it at now it looks crazy .. old silent movies Keystone Cops style.

How do I slow the game down???

Guys, this is freaking BS! Since when should people with relatively high spec PC's have to turn down the res to minimum and the detail quality to minimum just to play the game at a normal speed???

Konami have either f***ed up big time or this demo is in fact a beta just tested on one machine and not tuned for multi-use. It only has a white ball in it which strongly suggests it's a beta in the same way as the first PES3 release floating around the internet and peer-to-peers was.

Given the way we first got the demo, there is a good chance this may not be the official demo and not reflective of what we can expect. If this is the final code then Konami has pissed away a huge potential market they could have stolen from EA. I have a monster PC really and I still experience slow downs. I should theoretically be able to play this baby at the highest settings possible and have crap running in the background also.

Konami, you need to sort this BS out or else you're PC market is f***ed. Who among us is going to buy a program that didn't work for us with the demo? People are gonna d/l it rather than risk spending money on something that still doesn't freaking work. I'm a big fan of Konami but to be honest if they release this game not working on 75% of machines without turning it down to settings reminicent of 1999 PC's then they have seriously pissed me off!

yes tired that .. still fast .. ball and the players are still moving to fast... I want to play a game of football the but with the AI running around at 100mph .. it not enjoyable. more like ping pong.

I want a challenge but this is AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHhhhhhh.

Yup, the demo truly sucks. It's slow like hell. When I have more than like 4 players on screen it's going into matrix style slowmotion, and that is definatly not cool! I wanna play the game in normal speed, not in super duper slowmotion!

Yeah, but does Konami even read this forum?
They don't even have an Official forum to post in.
I think we'll have to wait til the official demo appears in their Website and after that if the problems persists we should spam them all over with e-mails and posts everywhere asking them to fix all these bugs and not to ask such high system specs.

What I think is: This is the second game ported by Konami (Konami, KCET, it's almost the same) from PS2 to PC and both have problems, if they will realase a third game ported from PS2 to PC with all these problems then A LOT of people will not even try the demos, not to mention that people won't buy the games, which means EA will win again.

I don't know if Konami reads the following forums, but I'll give you the link to start complaning in there, because we might get more results than what we could ever get in here:

thank you Willmas.I did wot u suggested,and it really worked.
However,I do have another problem now:the keyboard commands aren´t working properly.sometimes a player gets stuck running into a particular direction,or they dont respond to a shot or pass call.Anyone had this?

I have a low end computer, but PES3 surprisingly runs. Its slow obviously, but its playable.

600mhz pentium3
nvidia riva tnt 2 (latest drivers)
directx 9

I followed all of Fede's steps, is there anything else i can do?

Third party drivers. They're the only thing that's helped me on my laptop, since Dell hasn't issued new mobility drivers since the beginning of this year, and the default Catalyst drivers from ATI won't install on mobility cards.

They may help your performance on non-mobility cards too.
