How To Enable Free Kick Training On The Arena?

Is there a way to enable the all the training options on the arena? I would like to train free kicks, as it was possible on FIFA 14.

It doesn't look like you can this year, aside from hitting the side buttons on the d-pad while in 1v1 arena.. but there is no arena practice menu this year. Which is kinda a stupid, needless decision from EA.

I know, but there's no wall, the most important element to train free kicks. There was a way in FIFA 15 adding a .ini file. This used to work well, although some bugs, but I realized this file does not work on FIFA 16.

Exactly this. But this does not work no more. The game stays loading infinitely.

Fidel's GP mod has the arena enabled I believe.
SKIP_BOOTFLOW=1 unlocked the arena in the demo, cl file.

Yeah the arena is an available option, but the menu (like practice match and practice set pieces) isn't. Makes about as much sense as EA removing tournaments back in 14 on next-gen consoles.

Oh I see. But once in the arena, doesn't d-pad left enable free kick mode, that's how it worked in the demo and it's all the OP was wanting.

No I think he was asking how do you get the training options in the arena.. which, like he said, doesn't seem as though you can this year. The d-pad free kicks are shit anyways.

Haha yeah but when he elaborates, he explains he is talking about the training options which include the option to take proper free kicks with a wall and another man standing over the ball. I don't mean taking free kicks is bad this year, I mean the free kick option when in the arena (1v1) is stupid as the keeper stands in the center of the goal and you can't score (as opposed to the free kick settings we had in the training options menu last year). We seem to be going back and forth on this
