How to change your intro?

Hi, I downloaded Velocity5 - WE.Tha.Remix as an intro, after seeing the very impressive preveiw. Problem is, the instructions were;

Simply import this .pss file using
CDmage then Enjoy.


and I honestly dont have a clue how to do that. I downloaded CDmage, but I dont know what to open, how to import ect. On a further search on intro's, I read that you have to import the .pss into the .bin file which contains the original konami intro.... seeing as theres...god knows how many .bin files in the .afs , and none (well,none that I could see) labelled "intro.bin" ect, could someone please instruct me on what to do?

ok bro...you've got CDmage, great.

1. open CD mage :)
2. select "file", then "open" in the top left hand corner
3. select your image of WE7 (select the .cue file)
4. it should open it up, and on the left side you have image, session one. Under that is "track 1", click that.
5. this opens the right hand browser and a whole host of new crap is visible (filedata.afs etc) scroll down, on the bottom is a file called "WE7_OP.PSS"...this is the intro vid.
6. Right click on this, select "import file", browse and select your new vid, it should be done in 30 seconds.

7. burn and enjoy :)

ehh...I cant find a .pss on my image file/installation file... also,I'm using PES3 (the european version), not WE7..

haha....sorry man...those were my best instructions :) I do one thing, it will not be in the filedata, it will be in the actual boot directories, have a look around for it...

This is odd... I've no .pss file anywhere at all...not on the CD, not in the pes directory on my comp...but the cgi intro plays every time I run the game. Must be lodged in the AFS, cant see any other way for it to be running...

Dont suppose you've any ideas, like filesize, or what .bin it could be in inside the .afs?

oh,and I'm using a no-cd cracked version of the game, if that makes a difference, which it most likely does. I lose a terrible amount of my cd's, you see... I lost my fifa2004 one and I've only had it about 2 months...but im not too bothered about it,even though I never made a backup/cracked it :P

yeah, theCro was spot on for the detailed description of how to insert the file! sorry couldn't respond earlier, i just haven't been on the forums for a few days! the only prob with inserting the vid into the PC version is that the screen aspects will be wrong, plus i don't even know if it will work!!! this is what i have been told though, good luck! i'm glad you enjoyed the vid though! that's great news!

On PES3 (PC) intro is situated in the "cafe" file, wich is the " KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 3\dat" folder

I glad i help to PES fans ;)

Thanks again for the help, but when I overwrite the cafe file with the new intro, It simply doesnt play the intro at all, just goes straight to the PES3 splash screen... I guess Im **** out of luck?
