I got FIFA 2004 today, mainly because it has Division One teams on.

I knew that the player ratings would be a bit dodgey for Norwich because people said they kept getting relegated. But they're absolutly stupid. There isn't even a hint of accuracy. The actualy players in the team are fine, and the faces aren't too bad. But the ratings are crap.

But in TCM demo, the ratings are really good for Norwich. How bloody stupid. So now I'm gonna buy the TCM game so I can put in the realistic ratings etc.

Has anybody else found this out with their lower division team?

not necessarily with lower division clubs...but they did make the Mexican clubs' ratings really low.

They all got 2 stars, except for Club America who got a 2.5...and thats because thats the only Mexican club they had ever heard about. And Club America isnt that good, cuz if they were they wouldn't of lost to Toluca (who EA gave a 2 star rating) 6-0.

So they did with Boca and River........but this has already been discussed when a bunch of people got on my back just to say "NO! IT'S NOT TRUE" or "THEY HAVE LOTS OF TEAMS TO MAKE"......:rolleyes:

I think they need to get away from this 5 star rating crap, and start rating teams 0-100. They got the ratngs perfect in NBA Live this year. You can actually tell the difference between a good team and a poor one. FIFA needs this as well.

I want to be able to crush Swindon Town with Arsenal!!:rockman:

I dont mind bad faces, but how the hell did they give Manchester United's John O'Shea blonde hair and Phillip Neville black hair? LOL :funny::funny::funny:

After playing the Portuguese league, I've got to wonder by the hell is Deco so crap? :confused: Did they not watch the UEFA Cup or any Portuguese football last year?

I agree, on the ratings both Argentine and Mexican clubs are underrated...but at least River got 4 stars and Boca got 4.5. Are EA trying to say Agrentine clubs are twice as good/prestifgous as Mexican clubs? Cuz in actuality both leagues are pretty even.

About the Portuguese Superleague, the comentary is all wrong the name of the players is not right, someone was it correct?

Yeah, but they got it RIGHT in TCM04. So why didn't they get it right in FIFA04?
Ans: Because they couldn't be f**ked.

So I will buy TCM when it comes out and put the teams into FIFA before taking TCM back again! It's just annoying I have to wait 3 weeks to do it.

I was also going to buy TCM...but now I won´t bother. it seems EA has stretched the truth a bit again..(this explains why fusion is not a part of the TCM-demo...should have known) :-(

I just got back from the TCM-forums, and a guy had posted this:

"Reports from germany say they have "lied" to us even more. Or atleast not told us the full truth.

Apparently it is not possible to play your league games in FIFA. It's only possible to export your team to FIFA to play friendlies and such in fifa. Importing results back to TCM is not possible.

Just wanted to make this clear for any of you, like me, who thought this would be possible...

Damn EA-wieners"

Now...it could be a rumour...but this is EA...and they do not get the benefit of my doubt anymore. Not after all the lying **** they put us through this year.

Now...if they want us to buy TCM they better say the above post is not true and then PROVE it by releasing a demo displaying football fusion. Coz their press releases are fairy tales, and I don´t trust them for a second.

you guys act like someone from EA personally came to your house, slept with your girlfriend and kicked your dog. Apparently its not easy to please their huge audience with the limited timeframe and resources to make the game. IMO this year is a huge improvement that they will continue to build on.

The division three one's seem acurate, exept for yeovil's players being identical

Only incorrect thing is that carlisle are 16'th not 24'th

I thought you could do that with TCM, but I'd never really looked at it. I just saw in the FIFA manual that you could take teams and games from TCM and into FIFA, not vice-versa.

But the only reason I'm pissed off is why have two totally different ratings systems. THey've got a good one in TCM, so why have a crap one in FIFA? It just doesn't make sense and is really annoying. Like someone said, they got it right in NBA Live, so why is the FIFA rating system so lame?

They must not have much communication between the Dev teams for the 2 games. However, this is the first time its been done. Hopefully they do better next year. Consider yourself lucky to even get TCM. We don't get it here in the US

That sounds like a lot of work :p

I play FIFA on ps2 anyways so it doesn't matter much for me. Don't think i'd enjoy TCM that much on its own.

The point is that they tell us this and that will be in the game...but when you buy it...it is not. Do you really tolerate being lied to by companies you buy your stuff from?
I thought Americans had a high consumer awareness.

you can buy it abroad it takes 2 weeks that's how I bought tcm 03 anyone who lives in us I can help I live in us too
