How the heck do you head the ball in this game?!!

Yeah, i feel completely let down somewhat. The only reason THE ONLY reason they get EA gets business is because of all the franchise rights they have. FIFA 2003 i feel is better than the last ones...but EA seems to think they've made some HUGE improvement. Well i guess it's a start to a more sim like football.

Then again i own the PS2 version of it and maybe PC is a whole lot better, but i doubt it. I still punch the wall when i think about no free headers!

You can do a free header, but with drawbacks

If you actually READ the manual, it says that the header button is the same as the goalie charge button, Y on the Sidewinder.

The problem with this though is that if you try adefensive header on a corner kick, your goalie will run out of position instead leaving the goal open. However, in the open field it works.

why try to defend fifa 2003 - it has too many short comings - stupid things like bad GUI - no back button when in team management for example, lets face it - anyone who says they are satisfied are hopeless.

you can do a free header

it is really simple you can do a free header in fifa2003 on pc all you have to do is press w but you can do it only in cheat mode

You guys need to read what you post.You cant do a free header in FIFA 2003 simply because most of the time in real life player would rather bring it down when they are alone than just take a chance and head it.To do a header when next to another player direction key + W on the keyboard.I dont know about a game-pad go check the gamepad center at fifa2003.com.


Also stop insulting each other its just a question about heading noneed to get angry.....stupids.
