Hi,
I am a research student in Melbourne, La Trobe Univ, want to do a survey about the soccer game. Especially about the soccer ball motion.
Can anyone suggest me whether the soccer ball used in any available soccer game is designed with a physical property yet?
Since I am going to model a soccer ball with a physically based modeling technique where the physics law is used, I'd like to know how far the soccer ball in any soccer game like winning eleven or FIFA is modeled?
I am sure the parabolic motion is already there and simulated perfectly but something like a swirling motion or "banana" shot is not realistic enough and also the deformation of the ball is not well modeled.
Please anyone know about the development of WE/ PRo E / ISS /FIFA or any games suggest me on this matter ...
thanks ..
