How famous is PES 3 in YOUR area?

PES 3 is going PC! Nice! I thought it makes the game more known to the general public, but after looking in the computerstores in my area I am not so sure now.
I was in a shop called 'free record shop' (yes, they sell a lot of games as well ;) ) and there I did only see 5 copies of FIFA :f***:
I pretended to buy PES 3 for the playstation and they told me they got 4 copies since the release and now there was none available.
They got 20 copies of FIFA 2004 since FIFA's release and got 5 left now.
So this shop relied on what the headoffice send them and the headoffice decided in all their 'wisdom' that 4 PES 3's were good enough :rolleyes:
I also visited another pretty big store, 'Dixons' and they got 7 copies of PES 3 and 5 from fifa 2004.
One day later they still got those; selled neither FIFA nor PES 3.
I have not much real football-fanatic friends and only 3 heared of PES 3, because they did see the game at my home.

I wonder how famous (if that's a good word) PES 3 is in your area: In the stores and amongst your friends... :confused:
Because I am confused about that now....

well my local EB store has a truck load of both games. i'd say the amount of games in the shop are about equal. at least 10-15 copies of each, if thats anything to go by.

My feeling is FIFA is better represented but PES i coming strong i also was scpetic when i bought PES for the first time but now its a joke to compare PES and FIFA...muaha:f***:

Where i live everybody looks for "PES Gameplay"...and i've got my copy cause i ordered it online and it's gonna be in sail in the stores only in the last week of November...everybody is coming to my home to play in my console, and it's a ******* wonderful game...FIFA sucks compared to PES.:crazyboy: :crazyboy:

pes3 wont be popular where im from, because i don't think they're going to be importing any to EB or any stores

the most i can hope is that i can get a friend to import one for me

In Singapore Winning Eleven owns FIFA anytime.. Only kids buy FIFA, but then again some kids even prefer Winning Eleven, so there you go

In Israel, nobody even knows what's PES3 or winning eleven.
Because most of israeli people have only PC's and not PS2.
and FIFA was the only football game PC has to offer, so...
people got used to playing in fifa for so long, I doubt that Konami
will earn any money here :(
too bad!!!! :(
they should have made more commercials and ****,
so everyone would know what's PES ;)

in China, every person I know who ever played pes, or we may call it in its Japanese name we, will dump FIFA forever, even only FIFA can be bought officially in the regular software shops. I am wondering what will happen when the PC version of PES is released in China officially. everything has a beginning, and has the end, that should be the end of FIFA. I hope PC version of the PES will replace the FIFA to become a new project in future WCG.
