What are your reasons to believe that? how can you incorporate all features of the game in a 35mb demo? It's illogical. Also, where is the tactics changing options during a game, as it was demonstrated on the video from EA (where you don't need to pause to change tactics?) Where are the chants? Where are the commentaries? Just think and you'll find out they are not there because its a friggin demo...
Tactics will change from team to team and probably during a match and AI will behave differently from team to team on the final game...

dude.. why would codes be bigger in size than graphics, movies and sounds.

do you know what is a demo? a demo its to incorporate the main features of the game (AI, graphics physics, gameplay).and those AI will behave differently from team to team you think that dosen´t fit in 32 mb file?
just think a little bit what is fulling your hard disk? is it your porno movies or your word files?

graphics is what make the game big not the script.

some of you guys are having serius problems of what is a demo and what is a beta or alpha

This a a demo - a demonstraion of the game to convince you to go out and buy the final version. The reason its only 35mb is because it's FIFA04 minus the frills (bout 600mb of frills).
Where is the logic in thinking they would take parts of the AI out for a demo? The programming routines(in mb) for the AI are negligible and would break the code if chunks were just ripped out.

Press c and z together to change tactics in game, if thats not what you mean, my bad.

Formations will be different from team to team but that's it. Going by the demo every team playing a 4-4-2 diamond is going to run straight for the penalty spot, so all you have to do is play with a sweeper and they'll never score...

sorry, but IMO FIFA04 is not even close to WE6(tactically), not by a long way.

Guys the final product will not look or feel much different than the demo you're playing, AI doesn't take that much room.

You know, I could agree with all you guys are saying now that I think a little harder. Even though, knowing EA and how inconsistent they are, there may be other options that would occur during a game, and for some reason they are not in the game...

Don't you think it pisses me off not to ever see the AI cross a ball into the box?

I want you to understand I'm not defendin EA by any means, but I was saying that they may have gotten the most important pieces of the game and for some reason left tactics out... (wait a minute, I'm contradicting myself, and it's true, either EA is too F**king dumb or they don't know anything about football at all).

Now that I think harder about it, and you've helped me understand there's no reason to remove AI behavior from a demo, i'd say EA is both too dumb and they don't know football at all if it's supposed to be final.

However, I still think you can have some fun with this game, especially when playing online against each other, because besides a few superhuman shots (which I didn't see regularly), when playing against another human, we won't have the problem of stupid tactical behavior, unless the human on the other end is a real bad player. And the game is much much improved to be a step closer to real football from 2003, at least when playing online.

Yes, a demo is a "demonstration" of the final product, or in some cases not.

But in FIFA it probably is...

I like the demo though, but liking it might not be enough I'm afraid, not enough for my sexy-box (I mean xbox, lol). :crazyboy:
