How do you clear the ball..!!!

Ive got the X-Box version....and 60% of the goals I concede are because my defenders wont clear the ball immediatly...instead they keep getting caught in possesion...what key do you use to just the ball the hell out of the box without the defender trying to line up a shoot like hes taking a free kick..!!!!anyone else have problems with this..?

I didn't have this much problems about it... what do I do is I go away from the Attacker then I hit "Shoot", not anything else... When done as I said, the defender will kick the ball tawords "Anywhere" except his goal or another attacker.

Hitting shoot makes the defender line up the shot...I mean just kick the ball anywhere on the fly...ill try the Y key and update if it works...

Not at all, mate... I mean when I do what I told you, the defender kicks the ball in a very reasonable way, away from the goal and from the other attacker... try playing a pass towards the corner line to just get rid of the ball...

I play my Fifa on PC, an Alienware's Aurora 7500, so I don't feel any lags or slow timings, everything is great with me, I even play with the legendary strength level, yet the CPU can't take the ball what so ever, except for sometimes of course...

Thanks for the reply friend...but if you played the X-box version online you would understand that pressing shoot is not an option...on X-box live sometimes bepending on the connection the game is incredibly fast and that split second where the defender pulls back his foot when you press shoot enables the attacker to either nip the ball away or the shot hits the attacker . Believe me I play on the Pc as well but on x-box live you need the reactions of a cobra sometimes....not knocking your Pc at all by the way ...anyone else come across this playing on x-box live..?
