How do we make this forum better?

This forum used to be awesome! It was probably the one that I visited the most but now it's basically tumbleweed. What happened? How can we make it better?

I think the problem is that there aren't as many artists on the board anymore. I've personally got bored of posting stuff on here because we don't get any constructive critisim. Its normally just critisim.

I agree sig threads killed this forum and a bunch of polish dudes who think their stuff is amazing. I won't name any names.

There's no way to make this forum better.

People don't find time to make sigs anymore.

And there are only requests.

Maybe we should have competitions with sigs or wallpapers or what not, that might bring back some activity to this fourm, maybe work out prizes some how?

Yeah, and I completely forgot about Rui, he was class. But he hasn't posted in ages.

I was talking with him last summer and he told me that he will be off for a while as he is looking for a job and won't be back until he finds one.

I was interested in improving my Photoshop skills two years ago. But then, the noobs all requested for sigs. Yeah mika, it was better two years ago.

this forum is killed man, there's no creativity or real passion for graphics left. Not in the way it used to be here anyhow. There's just too few regular posters left that care about anything more than just sigs (not to mention 95% of the sigs here look the same with that now overdone blur), it gets borring. Others who still enjoy graphics have moved on and post at other graphics-specific forums.

I was one of the founding members of this forum and honestly I'm here like maybe once a month now... there's just nobody left to bounce ideas off of about art, web design, other graphic design stuff, anything but bloody sigs. Well, there are a few, but I can talk to them elsewhere..

i used to post more often, but there is not much of a point, no comments are ever given, unless it is a request. now i am just busy at soccer-art with some other people i know, wojtala, verbaT, and others, many poles and europeans.

Thats exactly what I was going too say. Although, I would say the only people who request now are n00bs who request from the nearest "artist" who loves a bit of bevel, emboss and outer glow

I say we bump up the post sig request limit to 1000+

That could actually help, it only takes a few days to get 100 posts if you really try. or maybe you must get referred by a credible member to be able to request sigs.
