how do we edit the cpu.diff file?

Guys, if you are unhappy with, for example, cpu goalkeeper and human goalkeeper, we could edit the cpu.diff file but why have they taken it out of the ini.big file?

Look in config.dat file. In my case, I modified the way ball moves in the field (spin, bouncing...), but there are 2 ai.ini file, in ini.big and in config.dat. I edited the one in ini.big and...nothing. After editing th second, in config.dat, i noticed th change. In 07 the one in ini.big was important. Here...

anyone know where to look for to edit the CPU ai for each difficulty?

the ai.ini only include the overall settings but not specific cpu/human setting like they have in 2007

Because the game no longer reads those parameters, best as I can tell. The section names (eg. CPUBG) have disappeared from the .EXE as have those parameters that I've checked (I've not bothered with all of them, just a random sample)
