How do player names work?

Hello.

Would anyone know how to find or change the name assignment of "people" by country?
I have a patch that when I try to hire a Brazilian scout, for example, the name does not come from Brazilian, but from Japanese or Turkish. The same happens with the kids at the base.
I wanted to know how the assignment of these names works to try to correct it.
I'll leave an example image.

These are young Brazilians....

Another example:
That's scouts for hire...

I'm using the FIFA 23 DB.

This is a bit complicated. The most difficult thing is with Spanish, Brazilian and Portuguese surnames. As we know, players have several parts of their surnames and first names, and they usually use nicknames or various types of abbreviations. All other names can be easily fixed. Just open the database in DBMaster and remove all values from the tables: career_lastnames, career_firstnames, career_commonnames and career_namesgroup, but this will make the names of the Spanish, Brazilian and Portuguese players very long. The name displayed on the shirt will be a bit strange. You can also enter such data manually. I used Excel for this purpose. I isolated all surnames, e.g. Brazilian ones. Then I placed the number assigned to each name in the tables from which I had previously deleted the data. For someone who starts modding games, it can be very complicated.

If I exported this table from clean FIFA and imported it into this patch, would it work?

@jands Unfortunately, this won't work because the numbers used there only match names from the original database. In yours, these numbers have different names assigned to them, so it looks like in your pictures.
