How do I get my created player(s) in to my current career?

This is Fifa 2005 on the PS2...

I have created a plyer or two and set which teams they should be rostered on.

However, they still do not show up on m rosters...?

I have tried loading the "squads" (which I believe is the created player file or whatever), and then loading the career...but still to no avail.

Must I trade them on, or something?

You have to restart your career with the team you have put the player(s) in. Once your career has started you cannot make any changes to squads.
