How close is your league?

Normally when i play CM 03 04, by the half way point in the season i'm already more than 10 points clear, and by the end the gap is usually around 20, mainly due to the teams below losing a ridiculous amount of games.

This season though, things are different, after 26-28 games, the top 5 are all pretty close together, definitely closer than i've ever seen before! It actually looks like i might have to try and field a full strength team for the end part of the season this year!

What are your experiences of the league? Do you win by miles? Or is it normally quite tight?

Normally, i win by miles. Although last year was a close shave, due to refereeing conspiracies against my team (in about 10-15 matches, i always had a player sent off).

I play with small clubs always, and it's not easy to win leagues easily. At first at least... When it gets easy I just resign
It was prety close for me with bolton 5 seasons in the premiership. Now I manage a spanish club... it seems to me that top clubs win more games and always have about 90 points in the end. In england it was about 80 points.

Second season with Atalanta. Won the Serie B easily in my first season, I'm having trouble against the big teams though. All three losses are from Juve, Lazio and Roma.

With Strasbourg I always won my title very easy. Always about 30 points ahead of number 2 at the end. The 2 last years I won it by 41 and 43 points.

With Espanyol it's all very close: Still fighting for UEFA-cup, but still not safe from relegation:

Auxerre is eazy goin' 23 points ahead and I won the title on 26 March

With Valencia it was much closer I won on the last day the title with 1 point ahead on Barca.

First season with Bray Wanderers strolled through the irish premier division with only losing one or two games

This season its bloody hard though I'm third with half the season gone and Bohemians who are first have 6 more points then me

I'm now in my second season playing for Wolves, cool thing is I won in my first season. It was a breeze my players usally won by at least 4 goals a game winning. The second season however I am always coming off of tight games like 1-0, 3-2 games....
I bought a player last year Tim Janssen he scored 44 goals for me. This year he is not doing so great.. Could it because I lost kenny Miller to free transfer?

i ended up winning the league by 5 points, Chelsea and Man Utd had identical points with 3 games left, but i won all 3, they won 1, drew 1, lost 1 (they had to play Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool in their last 3 games!)

I then went on to win the FA cup 1-0 over liverpool and the Champions League 2-0 over Newcastle, so what with winning the League cup 2-1 over Cambridge, it's been a good season

and now Parma are bankrupt and Adriano is mine for £3m

Playing with smaller clubs is harder so when i do win the league, it's pretty tight.

when i play with arsenal its always tight i went 37 games without a loss and i still only won the league by 5 points.

Im Finding in Spain with my Levante team that the top maybe 2-5 Breaks away then the next 6-12 is very very close

In my Roma game I think I have won nearly every match at the half way point with me being so far into the future it isn't hard.
With Blackburn at just after the half way point I am 10 points clear of Arsenal with a game in hand in the first season. In my Leeds game in about 2010 I am also pretty far ahead.

I'm 4 pts behind Inter atm. Had some problems with tactics, plus my strikers miss too much. I get about 20+ shots every game but i usually win 2-0 or something like that.
