No worse than the usual UEFA/CL refs to be honest. So pretty bad aye.

The players these days do refs no favours though in the CL, pretty much all a bunch of hypocritical panzies.

I'm a better referee than Terje Hauge.

No, seriously, I am. I refereed 10 and 11 years olds for 4 years. It was some fast-paced, bumblebee soccer shiznit. C'mon, send me to Germany!

Plus, I can also deal with "adversity" from the sidelines. I've told more than a few rich, yuppie parents to shove it.

isn't that a great feeling? (ive done it as a player though). You just know all they would like is to be out there playing.... haha :p

No he wasn't... he did well at the Bridge... i personally like this referee, altho i have to agree... he's a very "by-the-book" type of referee... sometimes, he needs to chill...

But the game at the Bridge... nothing to point at him... excellent referreing... :jap:

usually he is quite good (seen him in a lot of norwegian league games), but last night he did some funny stuff.

and he did a good job at the bridge..

Every decision of him went the wrong way. You think like: 'yeah that's a corner', Hauge:'Goal kick'. :(

Hauge is a good referee in my opininon. I agree that he didn't do a good enough job last night, but everyone has a bad day here and there. Usually he does few mistakes, not like every other Norwegian crap referees.

The telling comment on Sky Sports last night was "The one man who needs to calm down is the referee."

He comes accross as one of these refs who think people watch him rather than the players and goes out of his way to send someone off.

Hauge is good in Norwegian league games, but these games seems a bit too fast paced for him. He seems to become the center of attention _every_ single big game he does.

He was horrible yesterday, as he was at Stamford Bridge earlier this season.

reminicent of his good buddy, Anders Frisk

dashing pornstar to the end (H)

As far as Hauge went at the bridge, most Chelsea fans were livid at the red card, as was I. But the game he reffed was very similar to this final. Chelsea tried to play in an English style, but apparrently we had been perscribed to play like it was La Liga, and nobody told Mourinho

whistle freekick barca
whistle freekick barca
whistle freekick barca
etc

and so on. The guy dictated both the pace of the game and the nature of our play inside about 30 minutes of the first half. The red card for the nonfoul and messi's play acting was just the icing on the cake. But as you can see from yesteday, he's a bit better at selectively witholding fouls for theatrics
