"Historic" FIFA league

Many legends or great players have played the game from time to time. Great players such as Pele, Zico, Garrincha, Maradona, Mario Kempes, Di Stefano, Platini, Paolo Rossi, Dino Zoff, Giuseppe Meazza, Cryuff, Van Basten, Gullit, Gerd Muller, Hugo Sanchez, Yashin, Eusebio, Milla, Puskas and Valderamma should be on FIFA 2004 and the great teams they played for.

That would be awesome! They could make a league just on classic players and stuff. They could call it the "Classic League" or "Historic League" like you mentioned.

Yeah same here. Unlocking stuff is fun and makes the "Lasting Appeal" longer.

The unlocking thing is good. I don't like the "greatest ever XI" though. It doesn't have the same feel as a "Classics" league.

The Classic League should be made available by winning the treble and the Greatest World XI by winning the World Cup or International Cup

I thought once of a nice idea for a WC edition of FIFA, winning by each team would unlock one classic side. For great teams, the unlocked team would of course be the same nation, but then a smaller nation, let's say Slovenia (no disrespect though!) could unlock a historic nation side for a team that is not in the current World Cup (i.e. Hungary), or then a second historic team for let's say, Brazil.

It would be nice to have a Legends Europe or S. America unlockable in just a normal FIFA game. Maybe they could have some special tweaked skills, like heavenly ball control with Maradona, or obsenly great passes from Socrates.
And, oh yes, Valderrama must be included with accurate hair!

Just classic teams in classic stadiums would be good. Ala Liverpool of the 80's or something, Man U 90's team and so forth. England 66. That sort of thing. With old stadia.

I think EA Should make Classic team of Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia!!! It is gonna make gathering the best players easier.

Mofo! Suck a D**K. Yes it was in FIFA 2000 and it kicked ass. That's why we want it back in for FIFA 2004. With more teams, more stadiums, better gameplay and better graphics.

Creating teams wouldn´t be so hard ,because they were in 2000
and that grey feature there is a must for old teams. Accurate ball for era and "classic" stadiums a.k.a. Wembley and Maracaná. The only thing they need to add is Utd ´99. This would complete FIFA

Man Utd 99 is very similar to the current team. Still a good pick even I like their 1968 team better. One team I didn't like from the Classics League is Daewoo 1997. They're only good for giving an ass whipin'.

Put in also Benfica 1960s and Juventus 1970s and 80s

Add the old formations and strategies. 2-3-5,4-2-4, the "total football" style, etc.
