Help with scoring

Well after trying a lot of things with my man united team, ive finally given up in the hopw of getting my team to score more goals.

My team used to score lots of goals after i used some £50m in buying many players but for some reason my team has been having easy chances and missing them even when they are very close to the goal. Also, goalkeepers seem to be having a habit of getting a rating of 8 or more against me.

I'd also like to say if this is because of the fact that i have 4.1.5 so im wondering if the problems because of the shooting bug.

So my question is: Why? Why is this happening?

well, its definitely not 4.1.5, I scored like 160 goals in 37 matches on this version.....

Have your style as gung ho, let the passes go on the wing, that will make lots of crosses in front of the goal, so also much goals.

And something I learned yesterday (thanks Marc and Ruud) do not play 1200×600 or whatever it is.;)

thanks at leat i know its not to do with 4.1.5 :)

ive got my team on gung ho and yes passing is on the wings. and yo also mentioned crossing the ball, well my team do that but nobody scores from a cross, which is another problem i have :(

well van nistelrooy and morientes both have 18 for finishing and they only score a goal once every few games :S

my last game happens to be a very typical match :(

97% tackling though im sure thats quite normal for everyone. once again, misssing many chances and one goal came from a penalty and the other from a midfielder. not many crosses being met either. it very annoying and kirklands playing crap for rite now though he did get a rating of 9 after i critisized him maybe i should always critisize him before every single match :confused: anyway his rating was 5 and their late equaliser was kirklands fault as he again managed to not save an easy shot. so thats all my troubles at this moment.

Also play a 4-1-3-2 and have your midflider center make a run up to the frowards as if he was a thrid forward.:) that usually does it for me.

well wouldnt u know it? i played with 1024 x 768 and all my 3 goals came from crosses! ill also try 4-1-3-2 because im getting bored of my current tactic

yea the 4-1-3-2 i am playing now is awsome, just one advice the midfidler centeral that you put make sure his finishing is high because when you put his arrow up to the forwards then he scores lots.
