Help With Patch Ver1.1!!!!!!

Ive downloaded the update patch, which puts the controller settings option on the menu, from the fifa website, but when i install it after opening up the htm document it says

""Patch Error: Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No updates done since file contents do not match.""

What does this mean? How can I install the patch? I have also re-installed the game because of problems with the CC so the game and CC were both re-installed, then I downloaded the patch. Someone please help!!!

Uninstall the CC, replace the fifa.db file with the original one from the CD and than try applying the patch. If it works than install the CC again.
