Help me fix my defense - pics included

Hello,

My defense with Blackpool is awful and I'm in my second season. Here are the ratings of my defenders, defensive mids and GK. The defense that I have right now that is bad is the following:

DM: Hilton (overall good)
DL: Illsinho (has great potential)
DC: Dika (solid)
DC: Ongao (overall good and great potential)
DR: Coid (good attacking fullback, bad defender)
GK: Jacobsen (solid)

I'm allowing many goals of off corners and the team defense is awful. Their wingers can do whatever they want! Here are my players stats:

He is getting old and his contract is up after this year. I dont plan on renewing it.

Good at attacking but gets beat defensively too often.

Not bad at taking the ball down the field and crossing it or passing to the middle. Not a great defender.

Overall solid player but he already filled his potential

Very good player that can play any position.

Decent defender.

Good young keeper with good potential

Not good right now but had great potential

Those are the ratings of the players with potential and current ratings.

Please help me make a defensive line up that will defend well. My defense is awful right now and I need to win some games. What players would you put on and in which positions? Thanks for the help.

Also, what attributes are the most important for defenders other than the obvious Marking and Tackling?

This is a guy that I'm wanting to buy very soon. I can get him for only 10k! What position should I play him in? DM or DL? Illsinho is a project so maybe I should play this guy for 80 minutes and give Illsinho the last 10. Would that help Illsinho improve more than just rotting on the bech?

You are conceding a lot because just about all of the players except Onago have poor jumping stats. This means that one opposition striker will jump above them and score

I suggest that all of your team players with 15+ for jumping on "Mark Man" or "Mark tallest player" for defending corners and free kicks. If that is only 4 players, including both your strikers, don't worry! Set the smaller ones on both posts (helps save a few goals) and a few to form a wall, and your quickest one or two to stay forward for a quick counter.

I think you should play zonal marking, dont let your DR and DL run up IMO, makes the defense weaker

since you are using cm scout what do u need help for? It will a piece of cake to find the best possible cheap young players with huge potential for your team.............

The only guys that I signed using CMscout were Atli Jacobsen and Ongao. The rest I found myself and then later looked them up in Cmscout.

Which line up should I play with?

How about your tactic? I think the player you have is good enough. Maybe you can set the SW with a player for good jumping.

Why is the tactic above considered cheating?

The pics are from a program called CM Scout.

I'm actually doing OK playing this lineup:

DM: Coid
DL: Illsiho DC: Dika DC: Ongao DR: Hilton

Unfortunatly Coid just got a torn groin and will be out for 2 months! So I might not do that well.

What are the most important stats for defenders?

CM Scout is cheating and there's absolutely no way to argue that it isn't. You can look into the future and see how good players will become. If you're already cheating, just download a tactic.

As I said, I got 2 players though CM Scout.

I should have just gotten the stats from the real game but it was faster through CM Scout.

Even if you just use it to check the potential of your current players, it's cheating.

Heading, Strenth, Bravery, Decsions, Determination, Accerleration, Agility, Jumping.

I think the most important element of back is position ,anticipation and jump.

Tackling, Marking, Positioning are the basic ones.
