Help for a color-blind buddy

Well, i guess this isnt a common question but here it goes.
A couple of buddies and I use to play some home leagues/tournaments at fifa2003 on the same computer, one with a gamepad and the other with the keyb, the we turn. the bad news is that one of them is color-blinded and cant distinguish the red triangle of the blue during gameplay, you know, the ones that select wich player are you controlling.
Is there anyway we can change any of them to other colour that he can difference easier (like yellow or green)?
Sorry if this is a stupid question and its answered somewere but i had to ask it.

we cant do your trick, only have one gamepad. but its a good idea.

I'm not having that problem myself, but I think it's a shame that EA doesn't make their game playable for color-blinds. I know Championship Manager changed their colors to make it easier to color-blinds, why cannot EA??

I am colour blind and i must say i'm already releaved that we can choose the shirt before a game because when i play f.e. ac milan - barcelona, both in their original jersey's i have really difficultys playing the game, but more game developpers must have a sollution for the problem. Ever tried to play counterstrike against a colourblinded, just dont move and the guy wont notice you
