Help Adding Phase In National Cup

EDIT: the problem must be somewhere else.. even with fewer teams i got crash.. But how can i test phase one per one ? the game wont crash if the cup isnt fully programmed (first tour, second, etc...) ?
Mostly, the cup work in direct tournement mode with all teams (122)... But when i launch career, crash.

Test it in tournament mode too. Also, make sure there isn't a scheduling problem. You can also start taking screenshots of your tournament structure so I can look at it.

Regularcat swears there is no 64 team limit. I believe him.

Try putting them on the same day. Also make sure they all start at the same time OR the times are separated by at least two hours.

Also, set the min and max to 6 for both times. And try not to use any kickoff times after 20:00.

Most of this is probably just superstition, but I've been following those tactics for a while and it seems to help.

You said this works under tournament mode? Usually if it works in tournament, it works in Career Mode.

If the leagues were working, don't mess with them. But with the cup don't have one set of legs on one day and another set on another day. Then be careful about the times. Don't have overlapping games unless they kickoff at The same time.

BTW, are you editing the existing tournament or creating a new one? I would create a new one.

Im editing the existing national cup. If i make a new one i must edit it to scratch or i can copy the current one ? And can i then delete the old one and give the ID of the old one to the new ?

The cup leg dates should be different than the league leg dates, yes. But I was saying that each cup leg date/time should be on the same day. Don't put 6 matches on a Wednesday and 6 matches on a Thursday. Make them all on a Wednesday.

I think it's a bad idea to delete the existing cup. But I would want to create my own from scratch. I'll have to think about how to do that.

How many teams, matches, legs, stages do you have in your cup right now? I would strip it down to two teams, one stage, one match. Until that works I wouldn't try to build any more into it.

Im gonna make a clean revierifing of everything, leagues, and the cup, and watch how it gonna work.
For now i got 122 teams (if im good in math x) , 10 rounds (6 rounds + finals phases) many many match (on round with 24), but like i said, it work in tournament, so...


I think the problem isnt the cup, maybe, tough it worked first time, the problem come from the 5th div, someone told me the game don't support a 5th div, gonna try some stuff and watch what happen.

EDIT: Before make the cup, i made sure all leagues work fine, but now, i removed cup for some test, let only leagues, everything work fine, except when i put my 4th and 5th division together (both work alone) the game crash at 31 july. That weird because i got them to work together before... I'll let you know.

EDIT2: even when removing that 5th div (and try succesfully in career) when add the cup, it crash. I let the brain refresh and mind quietly on what could be the problem... not sure i found it one day

@Karussell: I would like to, but for now, i used so many content of everywhere, mostly from fifa 14 creation center, tough i made a big part by myself, and everything is not really clean, i can't realease it in that state, but when all programing stuff will be clean, ill start to think of a realease version surely. But don't know when, i really would like to, i'll see how.

Yeah. I looked through and didn't see anything explicitly out of place. But, it's so easy to overlook these things. You gotta play detective to figure this out. They best way to do that is to isolate your variables.

So, I still think you are trying to do too much at once. I would restore the original french cup back to it's default settings.

Then check that it works.

Then I would build a new, second tournament. Start with just two teams. 1 match. Get it working in tournament mode and Career mode.

Once you get that working, build just the first leg. Test to be sure it works.

Keep going like that until you get it or learn that you can't.

Before make a totally new cup, i just tried deleting all phases except phase number one, well the career launched, but i had a weird thing, when i go in ranking, there was a ranking for the league, normal, and a ranking for the cup, with everything set like a league, with point and stuff, dont know if that normal. Then the game crashed at 31th july.

I added round 2 later, it crash. So there is progress :P

Im gonna restore the league like it was, and watch how it goes then.

You mean the ranking page i got in game ? Its a normal ranking page like for a league. I took a ligue 2 team so i had "ligue 2" ranking, press RB and got "coupe de france" ranking with point and everything, it wasnt listed like a cup or anything, i dont even know why it was there.

Bit weird, maybe its due that there is only one phase right now (for testing)
