from the info in the official forums, EA sat them down in front of a real life full match and had them commentating on it,

I once played a Basketball game on PC a few years ago and the commentating in that game was so great! The one guy would say:
"Oh man, he's getting to old to play the game" are something and than the other: "He's not old, he's just a guy with a good record collection!" LOL I just loved the humor in that commentating. There were just too little jokes => starts to be repetitive after a while but hey, EA's commantary is repetitive too if you ask me.

I think all commentaries get repetitive after a while... normally I listen to it for the first 5 games, and then turn it off and just blast my stereo..
