i can't seem to download the world cup patch from fifafx.................could someone else have it to download as well??

sorry guys,
2 problems occured:
1) the incredible storm of Hits blew our servers
2) the Installation didnt work proper with WinXP
The good news is that the 2nd problem is already fixed.
The bad news is that we will need some time to relauch the Patch, as we have to ensure that enough servers and available traffic wont trouble us again.
If you have WinXP and already got the Patch Im sorry to say that I cant give good advice at this time, as Im still satisfied user of Win98.
I know that there are people that succeded in getting the Patch to run proper with XP as well, but please dont ask me how

Well my FIFA FX World Cup seems to be working, but I have some problems with it:
1) screen on the stadium doesn't display correct names of teams that are in game
2)I installed anthems of groups, but I don't hear them before game, just original FIFA music
Anybody know how to fix it?

Check out the included readMe of FifaFX !
You just need to have a FULL installation of Fifa2002, so all files have to be on your harddisc.
With a clean installation it works perfect.

I find it no problem to use.
But I managed to get a handle on using it at the end of Fifa2001.
I suggest to people who can't, to look and learn at whats going when you use it.
some tips:
1. Make sure you are using the correct language version of FIFAFX. Also check that the Team folders are named correctly to your language.
Very importants when you use a German FX patch with a English version of the game, you have to rename the German team name to the English spelling as it appears in the game.
2. get to know how to switch from game to desktop via the hotkey you assign with FIFAFX. This is so you can check to see what the program is set to. It should have the accurate team names and Division in the FIFAFX menu.
3. Sometimes you have to save game a few times (within the game menu) to make FX and FIFA2002 sync up. (you should hear the "its show time" sound when it does.
(also enable the auto save feature in Fifa2002)
--> This is where the "hotkey" shines, goto step 2 above and check to see if its in sync.
4. Save the game before you play the next one. (although once FIFAFX and Fifa are in sync, you will find it will work automaticly)
