..that he is seriously lacking in one department? I bought a defender a couple of seasons ago who had only 50 stamina. I got blinded by his other skills and forgot to check the stamina. It really sucked because the guy would be begging to come out of the game before halftime. I had to put him on waivers and sell him off at the first bid.

This was him before the game ---->:rockman:

This was him at halftime ----------->:-puke:

"Put on waivers" means to release a player free and clear to the first team that wants him. Usualy the worst team has the first option, then the next to worst etc....If the player isn't picked up by any team then that means that the player stays with the original team.

Why would a team do this? Many times its a player who makes a lot of money and is still under contract for a few years. In a move to dump him and his salary the players is offered for any team to take. Like I said before, if no team wants him then the original team is stuck with that player and his salary. The team can still cut that player but now they are still obligated to playing his salary. This move is used a lot due to the salary cap seen in the NBA and NFL, authough it is also used in the MLB and NHL. You will see VERY talented players put on waivers for any team to take due to salary cap reasons.

Ok back on track here....the way I meant it was that *I* put that player on the "release" list in PES3. You know when you go to "release" a player and you have 2 options. Either put him on the release list or cut him outright for a penalty.

Thank you Lucky Strike. I supposed it was that. But I thought that the Release List worked just like the Negotiation List, I maen, to do nothing but make your search shorter. But if you say that putting a player in the Release List is like offering player, I'll try it ;) :)
